Reserved appointment time
Your appointment time is held specifically for you. Regular attendance can also be important for continuity and the effectiveness of therapy. If you cannot attend, let Axis know as soon as possible so the situation can be discussed.
Current cancellation terms
The notice period and any fee that may apply are confirmed in writing before your first appointment. Please rely on that booking information, as practice arrangements may change. A missed appointment or late cancellation may not attract a Medicare or private health rebate.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, the appointment may still need to finish at the original time so that the next person’s appointment is not affected. Call Axis if you are delayed.
Telehealth
Join from a private, reasonably quiet location within Australia and use a device with a reliable connection. At the start of a telehealth appointment, Brent may confirm your location and contact details in case the connection is lost or urgent assistance is needed.
Illness or unexpected events
Contact Axis promptly if illness, caring responsibilities or an unexpected event affects attendance. Axis can move the appointment to telehealth or arrange another time with you.
